Passion/Purpose
I enjoy helping people make positive changes in their fitness and performance. What gets me out of bed is working with two types of clients; athletes and people with limitations.

To the Athlete
As a high school strength coach, I have the privilege to increase students’ performance, decrease injuries and mentor young people to make good choices. I believe that you have to be specific with your training methods to reach sport mastery and understand that preparing for the game and practice is the primary goal. When looking for a performance coach you need to find some with experience in the field who understands the pressures and responsibilities of being a student’s athlete at every level. My experience as a collegiate athlete and coach allows me to look at the entire picture so that I can deliver the most appropriate program.

To the Fitness Client
Clients with limitations are people who want to make positive changes in their fitness but have limitations such as injuries, disabilities and/or chronic health issues. I enjoy engaging the client, challenging them and connecting with them in a meaningful way. I believe that lifestyle changes with diet and exercise can be vehicles to solve almost all complications with the human body. Its important to know that traditional “health care” is not health care at all, it’s merely sick care because health care does not kick in until you’re sick! I have always felt that as a strength and conditioning specialist I am on the front lines of managing people’s health through preventative measures instead of relying on treatment methods. I believe that everyone should be able to perform basic human maintenance on themselves and not let the inability to move a certain way prevent them from enjoying life.
